Family Appreciation Night Was a Great Success

On April 28, 2018 the CF Bridge of Hope sponsored a Family Appreciation Night at the Tully Health Center in Stamford, CT to celebrate the children afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis and their families, who’s devotion to their children’s recovery is unrivaled. The event brought together the many families from around the New York Metropolitan area who have worked with Dr. Sadeghi and the CF Bridge of Hope. Moreover, it gave recognition to the many additional individuals and organizations who help the CF Bridge of Hope in its mission to provide medicines and treatment to children with CF in the US and around the world.

The evening was filled with educational moments, but also one’s filled with deep emotion, as Sara, one of Dr’ Sadeghi’s patients, told a story of how CF has affected her life. The story recollected her moments of despair and of triumph, as she would alternatively give up and then again rebuild her emotional strength to fight her disease, and eventually learn to master the discipline needed to manage her condition. Soon there will be a cure for all forms of CF, but for now, patients like Sara are challenged to fight the disease, with help from great humanitarians like Dr. Sadeghi and the CF Bridge of Hope.
